The Mediterrane Film Festival 2024 kicked off its highly-anticipated Masterclass strand with Academy Award and BAFTA nominated Production Designer Nathan Crowley.
In conversation with established film critic and journalist James Mottram, Crowley reflected on his unparalleled career working closely with Christopher Nolan on internationally renowned films including Interstellar, The Dark Knight and Dunkirk.
He discussed in-depth his working style, approach to new productions and the intricate balance between the importance of creating a tangible world and where CG and special effects play a key role in enhancing this.
Crowley shared with the audience of industry professionals and film lovers incredible imagery from his past work, including his recent work on Paul King’s Wonka and a special behind the scenes look at Jon M. Chu’s Wicked, set to hit cinemas later this year.
